MIDDLE NAME MEME

Okay here's the deal ....my daring(not darling) daughter has signed me up for this meme of sorts.

Here goes, first with the rules and then with the answers and THEN with the tags.
1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.

2. You must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.

3. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Okie dokey here we go my middle name is LENETTE
L-Leo the Lion is my sign. My hair resembles that of a Lion's Mane.
E-Eldest-I am the elder of my siblings.
N-Nervous while in a car. Especially in rain or two lane roads.
E-Extremist when it comes to my way of thinking on politics and religion and honesty.
T-TEXAN Born and raised. Texas Twang is an art!
T-Temperamental- I hope to grow out of it one day!
E-Eager and Excited to have this over and done with. heck yeah.

Now I am suppose to tag 7 people because my middle name is so dang long. So any-- many --miny-- moe YOUR IT! hehehe Naw feel free to do as you please. I am not puttin' any one on the spot. But I would like to know your middle name because I am nosey!(Shoulda put that one under N-Nosey) Thats all folks............Tammy Lenette not Wynette signing off for a tad.

YEE-HAW

A few weeks ago the boys attended a Buck-a-Roo Bible Camp for three days. They were so excited about this church, that my husband and I decided to check it out.

So last Sunday we mosey on down a dirt road and park the truck and walk down another dirt road to a barn, which serves as the church. There were fiddlers, guitars and other string instruments but no piano nor was there an organ anywhere to be seen. It was like walkin' into a scene from Gunsmoke.

After we took our seats (in folding metal chairs) an older lady came by and said " Why Paul is that you?" and then proceeded to tell me that I had the sweetest husband. I know I hear this all the time, so much so, that if he does something wrong I am afraid to speak of it for fear that no one will believe me. Anyhow just goes to show it is a small world after all.

The Preacher announces all the upcoming events. Seems this church is big into trail rides, rodeo's and bull riding. So the entry fee per night for riding a steer is 15.00 and my lil one has worked his tail off to make it.

Tonight was Buck A Roo Buck-Out and he rode his very first steer. But he declined to ride it twice. YIPPIE!
He had on full protective gear- a face mask, helmet and chest and rib pads but he hurt his leg a little bit when the steer stepped on him. Its not that bad but it could have been worse. I know what your thinkin' and believe me I did not want him to do this but his friend did it last week and he had to give it a go.

As the sayin' goes Boys will be Boys!

Instruments

We have spent a lot of time searching and researching Instruments.

Christian is going into Band this year and originally he wanted to play the flute. The Band Director decided that he would be better at playing the Trombone. So we looked at new instruments and they cost about $1,000.00 or you can get a slightly used one about $600.00 or a really used one for about $ 400.00. Or you can rent it.

Well Caleb is going into Orchestra this year and he is going to play the Cello. Eventually you will move from a 3/4 to a 1/2 size Cello and these little babies are EXPENSIVE.

I never learned how to play any instrument. I can not read music. I had a friend who took piano lessons and I was very envious of her ability to do so. Years later when my daughter was young and expressed an interest in music, I said "go for it". She played the violin for years and I worked a little extra to pay for private lessons.
Now we work a little extra so the boys can take piano lessons. They have been at it for almost five years now.

Do any of you play an instrument? Or have any knowledge of the Trombone and Cello?
