Have A Very Merry Christmas and A happy New Year!

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house....well my life does not resemble a story book that is certain.

I love the memories of Christmas. All the good things like carolling and visiting nursing homes and wish that I could go back and do those things now. Seems like life is busy all the time. But really life is full of interruptions...guess that is the way it is these days.

I am not complaining, more like groaning. Really though I have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has truly blessed me.

My Husband is awaiting news of his impending promotion. We are 99 percent sure that the Lord has paved the way. It will be good and bad but hopefully in even measures. He and the Twins created memories this season. My husband was Santa Claus every Saturday and Sunday and the Twins were his elves. No it was not a side job, but he was asked numerous times and I thought it quite funny because he lost 20 pounds this month. He was not really big bellied to begin with. He used pillows under his Santa suit.

Every year since the Twins were born, we take them to the Woodlands mall to get their 5x7 picture with Santa. We put in a frame and when we take down the Christmas decorations we box them up. So needless to say we had 9 pictures to set out this year and I was explaining to Paul that the boys are getting too old to keep on with this tradition. Seems their 10th and last picture with Santa is really their Dad. How Sweet is that?

I ran into an old friend today. She is all alone in this world. I asked her where she was going for Christmas and she replied "I will do the same as Thanksgiving, just sit at home with my dog". I really hope that I can persuade her to spend it with my nutty family. It really worries me to know that she has been alone for years and I just lost touch with her over time.

No one should be alone at the Holidays. Well what are your plans for Christmas? I wish you all Peace, Joy and Love. Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to All!
