I have a passion for reading and for Roger Clemens, pitcher for the Houston Astros! I know that the Lord is always with me and my Granny is my favorite person! Paul David is the best hubby and gift from God. I enjoy watching birds and squirrels and appreciating the great wonders that the Lord provides! My Twins hold the key to my heart! Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz

Oh what a relief it is- Our 6 days a week, five hours a day All-Star Baseball tour of duty is OVER!! The boys came in 2nd place! I feel like I won....because it is finished ;O)

I have spent last couple of days catching up on things. Now I need to prepare and plan for our upcoming vacation. I have heard some great things about Silver Dollar City. The reviews state that this is the #1 theme park. I like that it is set in the frontier days era. We are excited and ready to check it out! We are also going to see a local hometown fella named Kirby, put on his fanastic Magical show!

One things for sure three of are going to age on this trip. We are leaving on my birthday, and then three days into our trip, the Twins will turn 9 years old! My goodness time flies by! We usually spend their birthday at Minute Maid park catchin' an Astro's game, so we decide to catch one this Thursday instead. It will be a good one, against the Cardinals who were in first place, until they lost today :O).

Happy 4th Everyone! I am looking forward to reading and catching up on all of your blogs!

We went to Silver Dollar City, but it was years ago. It was a kid-less trip before she came along. Branson was a lot of fun. Hope all of you have Happy Birthdays!! Party hardy! ;)

Yep that is how I spent my childhood vacations, traveling around playing in baseball all star games. It was such fun though I remember staying in the hotels running around all night. Was a good vacation and great memories, my parents on the other hand have different memories! LOL

Thanks for dropping by, Tam. I don't recall what the flower is. It's a shrub that maxes out around 6 feet tall and while the flowers look big in that picture, it's deceptive. A bee fills up the entire blossom when it crawls in so they're at best 3/4" across. My camera was only a bit over an inch away from the bloom when I took the pic, so the flowers look big.
